Bourbon Walnut Pie

Ingredients

  • 1single pie crust (homemade or store bought)
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tbl butter, melted
  • 2 tbl bourbon
  • 1 ½ tbl flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup chopped walnuts
  • ¾ cup walnut halves

Directions

Roll out pie crust and place in a 9 inch pie plate. Crimp decoratively. Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl combine corn syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter, bourbon, flour, vanilla and salt. Mix in walnuts. Pour filling into pie crust and bake for 55 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.
