Nutella Drop Cookies (courtesy Giada De Laurentiis)


  • 2 sticks butter, room temperature
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ cup Nutella (or Trader Joe’s Chocolate Almond Spread)


Preheat oven to 350. Beat butter and sugar on high until light a fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Gradually add the flour followed by the Nutella. Form balls – about 1 tbl each and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cool completely. Then roll in powered sugar.
