Meatballs for Spaghetti

Wine Pairing

Sangiovese, 2013


  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1 cup bread crumbs (my Mom uses Progresso Italian but I tend to use panko, either is fine!)
  • ½ cup finely diced onion
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan
  • 2 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbl milk


Mix all ingredients (your hands work best). Roll into balls. A little bigger than a golf ball in size. Bake in a 350 oven for 30 minutes.
