Mini Cubanos

Wine Pairing

Nebbiolo, 2012


  • Sauce
  • ¾ cup of Major Grey’s Chutney (available at most grocery stores)
  • ¼ cup prepared yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon dill pickle relish
  • 20 baguette slices (1/4 inch thick), toasted
  • 8 oz thinly sliced ham (cut into 20 pieces)
  • 20 dill pickle chips
  • 1 ½ cups finely grated Swiss cheese
  • ½ cup thinly sliced red onion


For the sauce, combine all ingredients and set aside. To assemble the Cubano, place the toasted baguettes on a serving platter. Top each one with a slice of ham. Followed by a slice of dill pickle. Top with 1 tablespoon sauce and sprinkle with cheese and red onion. Serve immediately.
